Frequent English phrases, meanings and an example with their Kurdish meaning. Put a comment by using the phrase in a well-formed sentence.

thingy: sometimes used if you can't remember someone's or something's name:
هینه‌كه‌ (كاتێك ناوی كه‌سێك یان شتێكت بیرناكه‌وێته‌وه‌)

Can you pass me that thingy - you know, that clip thing for holding papers together.
ده‌توانی ئه‌و هینه‌م بده‌یه‌ ده‌ستی، ئه‌و پارچه‌ شته‌ی كه‌ كاغه‌ز به‌یه‌كه‌وه‌ ده‌گرێ.
