Social Expressions: Telephoning 04

These everyday-life expressions and phrases can help foreign learners acquire spoken English skills so that they can engage in fluent communication. goodbye: You say goodbye at the end of a telephone call: 

خوات له‌گه‌ڵ (له‌ كۆتایی په‌یوه‌ندی ته‌له‌فۆنی به‌كاردێت)

I must go now. Goodbye! 

پێویسته‌ بڕۆم. خوات له‌گه‌ڵ!

Note: If it is an informal call you might say bye or bye-bye instead of goodbye as these are both informal forms of goodbye: 

(bye،bye-bye) هه‌ردووكیان به‌شێوه‌ی ناڕه‌سمی به‌كاردێن بۆ خواحافیزی.

It's been good chatting to you again, but I really must go. Bye!
