British Culture: Abbreviations 01

Every country and culture has its own particular abbreviations. The following is one of the main abbreviations you need to know especially when you travel to the UK or live there permanently.

1. MP: Member of Parliament.

ئه‌ندام په‌رله‌مان

Someone who has been elected to represent people from a particular district (called a constituency) in Parliament. In Scotland, these people are called MSPs (Members of the Scottish Parliament). The National Assembly for Wales and the Northern Ireland Assembly have AMs ( = Assembly Members).

كه‌سێكه‌ كه‌ هه‌ڵبژێردراوه‌ بۆ نوێنه‌رایه‌تی كردنی خه‌ڵك له‌ ناوچه‌یه‌كی دیاریكراو (به‌ ئۆفیسی هه‌ڵبژاردن ناسراوه‌) له‌ په‌رله‌مان. له‌ سكۆتله‌ندا، ئه‌و خه‌ڵكانه‌ به‌ MSPs ناسراون (ئه‌ندام په‌رله‌مانی سكۆتله‌ندا). ئه‌نجومه‌نی نه‌ته‌وه‌یی وێڵز و ئه‌نجومه‌نی باكوری ئێرله‌ندا AMs ی هه‌یه‌ (ئه‌ندامانی ئه‌نجومه‌ن).

له‌وكاته‌ی خه‌ڵك به‌شێوه‌یه‌كی مه‌ترسیدار هه‌ست به‌ كێشه‌ ده‌كه‌ن له‌و شوێنه‌ی كه‌ تێیدا ده‌ژین، ئه‌ندامی په‌رله‌مانی ناوچه‌یی به‌ نووسین ئاگادار ده‌كه‌نه‌وه‌.
